Barcelona has always attracted huge numbers of those aspiring to jobs in the TEFL world – partly because of Barcelona's obvious attractions as a city and also because there has always been a huge demand for English teachers.

Of Barcelona's various TEFL training centres, we can recommend IH Barcelona. They do, admittedly, sponsor this site, but here at Barcelona Online we have personal experience of taking courses at the centre and also come into contact with a significant number of their trainees.

The well-designed website offers basic information on the courses (CELTA, CELTYL, DELTA etc, plus a large number of workshops) as well as an interesting CELTA FAQs page.

Barcelona Online was originally designed for the people studying Spanish at International House Barcelona.
